ABOUT US

St Andrew's is an Anglican church, worshiping God revealed to us in Jesus Christ. St Andrew's is an inclusive Church. We welcome all who seek God, regardless of race, age, gender, Disability or sexual orientation. We affirm that the Church's mission, in obedience with Holy Scripture is to proclaim the unfailing love of God in every generation.

Every week we hold the Sunday Eucharist, which is of the Liberal Catholic tradition. We have a robed choir who wear vestments and incense is used as an aid to worship.

Children are welcome. Sunday school is provided for primary aged children. Older children are encouraged to actively participate as acolytes and servers at the altar. Please visit the contact page to ask how you or your child can become a part of the service.

OUR HISTORY

Dearnley village lies midway between Littleborough and Rochdale.

It formed during the industrial revolution as workers migrated to the new mills of rural Lancashire, causing tiny, localised hamlets to amalgamate.
